Congratulations to Our Zone 8 Athletes Headed to the 2026 Alberta Winter Games

We are proud to congratulate six outstanding women’s artistic gymnastics athletes who have earned team placements representing Zone 8 at the 2026 Alberta Winter Games. Level 6 athletes Keanna, Kylie, Bristelle, and Evelyn, along with Level 7 athletes Élise and Preslee, demonstrated exceptional skill, determination, and consistency throughout the zone selection process. Their commitment to training and performance has paid off, and this achievement is a testament to the hard work they have put into their sport.

The Alberta Winter Games are a biennial, province-wide multi-sport event that brings together developing athletes aged 11–16 from across Alberta’s eight sport zones. First held in 1976, the Games provide athletes with the opportunity to compete at a high level, gain valuable competitive experience, and connect with peers from around the province. For many, the Alberta Winter Games serve as an important milestone in their athletic development and a memorable introduction to multi-sport competition.

The 2026 Alberta Winter Games will take place February 13–16, 2026, in the Lakeland Region, hosted across the communities of Bonnyville, Cold Lake, and Glendon. We are excited to see these athletes represent Zone 8 on the provincial stage and wish them the very best as they prepare for this incredible experience. Congratulations to Keanna, Kylie, Bristelle, Evelyn, Elise, and Preslee on this well-deserved accomplishment—we look forward to cheering you on at the Games!
