Recreational Gymnastics

Introduction

a step toward building confidence!

At the Grande Prairie Gymnastics Centre, we believe that every flip, jump, and roll helps build confidence, strength, and a lifelong love of movement. Our Recreational Gymnastics programs are designed for children aged five and up to learn, grow, and have fun in a safe, supportive, and exciting environment. Recreational programming is offered in four sessions throughout the school year, with additional summer camps available in July and August to keep kids active year-round. Pre-registration is available for members from the previous session, followed by public registration open to all families.

From learning the fundamentals of gymnastics to progressing on events such as floor, vault, beam, and bars, each session provides opportunities to develop strength, coordination, flexibility, and confidence. Led by experienced coaches who make learning fun and motivating, our programs also promote teamwork and perseverance—helping athletes reach their goals while enjoying every step of the journey.
